Which is your favorite?

So, the colors are (from left to right) :
Lagoon;
Rose dust;
Purple orchid;
Woodbine (I call it dark kiwi);
Golden glow (Golden yellow);
Grape smoke (others call it Chocolate truffle);
Endive;
Lipstick red;
Oyster gray;
Coral (some say Living coral, but I don’t really see the difference).

First day at school cam be a headache. What to wear during it?

First of all, it’s very delicate and classical look. For school it fits well. It is also dressy.
This season is going to be all about metal jewelry, so I thought, why not yellow jewelry? It looks good too!

Today I went to flee market (that’s how we call second-hand market). There was so many nice things, but, for my misfortune, a lot of them were not my size. But I’m quite happy – I found a jacket, that looks really good on me. I know, that it isn’t the most fashionable thing of the time, but if it fits me, then why not to buy it? Especially when the price was ridiculous – 2.9 EUR (3.68 USD) . Wanna see it? Here you go:

It looks like black here, but really it is dark brown.
Also I bought a purse:

Guess, how much it cost to me? About 2.03 EUR (2.58 USD).
Seriously, second-hand shops and markets are an awesome thing. You can find really good stuff there. So, what are you waiting for?

The first fashion article is quite a hard thing – you can choose a bad theme and everything goes bad. So, I thought, that Coco Chanel’s “Little black dress” is one of the most important fashion creations of all time. So, something from the history of Fashion.

Coco Chanel introduced her “Little black dress” in 1926 and then the history of fashion was changed. The first “Little black dress” was made of silk with a long string of fake pearls.

This dress was something never seen before in the fashion industry. After seven decades “Little black dress”  has found it’s place in the closet of every lady. So, how does your “Little black dress” look like?

Last year (from 2009 05 01 till 2010 04 30) there was a project – one girl wore the same “Little black dress” for entire year (365 days). That was done to show that it is very versatile peace of clothing. The site also collected the charity for children. What do you think?

Why fashion?

Fashion is one of the biggest and most important industries in the world. You may say that it can’t be truth. But it is!

Fashion nowadays is inseparable from everyone of us. So, why not to write about something that is important for all of us (more or less).

First of all, fashion is very versatile – it can be very simple, also very complicated. I’m going to write about all of it. Fashion weeks, shows, trends,  magazines, models and even simple choices how to dress fashionably without spending hundreds.

It is important to know, that no one should look like he just stepped down from catwalk. You must choose what looks good on you and what is comfortable for you. Don’t be blind and don’t make fun out of yourself; fashion is art – don’t look like a disaster.
